Who I Am, and Why Zenvox Exists
I am Jake. I didn’t start jacked.
Not even close.
I’ve been skinny, skinny-fat, and at one point, just straight-up fat — all in the name of “figuring it out.”
I started out small, the kind of small where t-shirts hang like curtains and every gym session feels like survival.
I followed the classic internet advice: eat more, train harder, go big. So I did. Aggressively.
And guess what?
I didn’t get big. I got soft.
Still not strong. Still not lean. But now I had a bloated stomach, constant fatigue, and no clue what to do next.
I kept going.
I pushed more food. More training. Less sleep. Less rest.
The result? Fat. Puffy face. Tired joints. Zero energy. I looked worse and felt worse.
At one point, I genuinely believed maybe I just didn’t have the genetics for this.
That I was cursed to spin my wheels forever — stuck in a body I didn’t recognize, doing all the “right things” and getting nowhere.
But something finally clicked.
I stopped chasing influencer workouts and cookie-cutter advice.
I slowed down. I simplified.
I learned how to train for growth not just fatigue. I started fueling my body in a way that actually worked. I took recovery seriously.
And for the first time, I started seeing results I could actually feel.
Not just in the mirror but in my energy, my digestion, my mood, and my confidence.
Now I’m lean, strong, and pain-free and Zenvox Fitness was built to help you do the same.
What I Believe
You don’t need to be a genetic freak.
